The ROLEPL-AI project aims at conceiving and testing an integrated set of tools based on immersive technology, Artificial Intelligence and pedagogical practice, for the benefit of Tourism VET. The project wants to train soft skills remotely, by pushing the practice through the implementation of AI-based simulation, as well as the use of an immersive environment, the virtual campus, to host this exchange.

Implementation: What activities are you going to implement?

4 work packages will be implemented, without counting project management. The 1st will proceed to the literature analysis about learning and AI. The 2nd will create the use case for implementing the project into real VET conditions. The 3rd will develop the tools, and the 4th will oversee the test and dissemination through events and video communication. 2 end-user tests will be carried out to collect feedback, with 30 trainees from Tourism VET, using AI-based simulation outside classroom hours.

Results: What project results and other outcomes do you expect your project to have?

The experimentation analysis will be conducted to define guidelines and requirements of AI use in education. All reports produced will be freely disseminated and media dissemination will be continuous. This additional dissemination outside the conferences circles aims to participate in sharing and facilitating access to this content in order to reduce friction in the use of new technologies in education while raising awareness of the reasoned use of AI.
